Batman: Assault On Arkham

The Movie
One thing you have to give DC is that there animated movies are pretty good. Their newest feature is Batman: Assault on Arkham and it features DC's Suicide Squad.  If you are not familiar with the Suicide Squad here's the short version. They are the team that handles the darkside of DC for Amanda Waller. The team is comprised of villains from the DC Universe. In the comic the team usually changes, mostly because somebody dies, so the roster is as unpredictable as the characters that make up the team. Even though Batman's name is on the cover, he is mostly a supporting character. The team for the movie is Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Black Spider, King Shark, Killer Frost, and Captain Boomerang. The movie plays out like a heist movie ala Ocean's Eleven. For this movie the Squad has to break into Arkham Asylum to get back information that the Riddler has stolen from Amanda Waller. The movie tells a decent story and you get to see all of the c…

The Movie
Well I went and seen it, as a matter of fact I got back about an hour ago. I have to say its not a bad movie and its not a good movie either. Its just an okay movie and this is me being completely honest. There is a lot to dislike and a few things to like about this film. Let's start with the dislikes and be advised that some of these dislikes come from the story of this movie. First, I had a problem with the Foot Clan as they are not ninja's but a mercenary group. It kind of takes away from the story, which has a lot of plot holes by the way, that makes the film feel uneven. Another thing that I didn't like is the pacing of the movie, it drags at the beginning of the movie and is noticable. I have to mention this but Megan Fox is really miscast as April O'Neil and I understand what they were trying to do with her by making her more integral to the story. However, what they do story wise makes no effin sense and that's being nice about it. Also …

Gamers @ Large Network

Gamers @ Large Network

Sorry guys I meant to do a video about this but I have been having some issues with my webcam lately and I figure I better just let people know via my blog. Some of you may know this but I am a member of the Gamers @ Large and we have launched our network. Yesterday was our first episode under the new channel and format. Here's the short synopsis of what we are trying to accomplish. We want to make the YouTube Gaming Community fun again and distance ourselves from the foolishness that has run rampant there. I'll provide a link to the intro video that goes into more detail. If you are interested in joining and being a part of the network we do have an application that needs to be filled out and some criteria that must be met (don't worry its nothing to crazy). There will be links provided for that as well.

Now what does this mean for my channel. Nothing really, I will still be hosting discussions, reviews, and posting gameplays. I will try and make sure…

The Movie
I'm just going to come out and say it I love this movie. This is the movie that a lot of people were worried about as this is the movie that is completely in space for the majority of the movie. I mean they spend the like the first seven minutes of the movie on earth and don't come back to it at all. This is a very good thing as it allows to get to see the universe and all of the different species that are present. One thing that is prevalent is this movie is comedy. In all honesty I feel like the comedy has never been a problem with the Marvel movies but this one is a straight up action comedy. Fans of the comic should like the fact that it takes the characters from the Guardians book that is out now. Sorry for fans of the other Guardian series'. For those of you who may be worrying that a talking raccoon and a giant tree that only says three words can't work on screen, trust me they work well on screen. All of the actors do a gr…
